What’s Happening

You Are Invited to “What’s Next? Young Adults of South Jersey”

Who: Anyone ages 18 through 35 years old. No church experience necessary!

What: Fun Events (low cost) hosted in and outside the church for young adults who want to share food, fun, & fellowship as well as Bible Studies with other believers.

Where: Hosted by Aldine United Methodist Church, 780 Friesburg-Aldine Road, Elmer, NJ 08318. (856)-358-8956. Other churches are welcome to host as well once we start!

When: Beginning on Saturday, January 24th from 4:30-7:30pm. Dinner & Game Night (bring a favorite board game). Events will typically be on Sunday nights (after Super Bowl) & Bible Studies will be on Tuesdays at 6:30pm.

Why: To make new friends while we grow in our faith. To invite friends to join you at church in a non-threatening atmosphere.

The retreat will take place the weekend of Friday, February 6 – Sunday, February 8 at the Bird-In Hand Inn in Bird-In Hand, Lancaster County PA. It promises to be an exciting, inspiring weekend that you won’t want to miss. Jeff Crispin will be our guest speaker. Jeff’s theme for the weekend will be “Real Change”. The Lord changes us. So over the weekend we are going to consider the scriptures as they present Jesus as great, Jesus as gracious, and Jesus as good. And as we do, the Lord works real change in our hearts and lives for His glory. He’s making us all more and more like Jesus. The weekend will include worship, fellowship, games, fun and goodies galore. In addition it includes a smorgasbord breakfast Saturday & Sunday at the Bird-In Hand Inn Restaurant and Saturday dinner at the newly renovated Hershey Farm Resort.

The cost of the weekend is $440 for double occupancy and $400 for single occupancy. If you are attending as a single, share a room then your cost is only $220, we can help team you up with a friend to share the room. Children are dismissed before the Pastor’s sermon so they can participate in their own, age-appropriate programs.

Every Wednesday night beginning at 6:30pm are Bible Studies for youths and adults. Come join us as we learn more about the Word of God!
